Virginia Arlene Mumper, 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Virginia was born on March 7, 1922, to the late Roy and Bertha White from Lewistown, PA. Virginia was raised in Lewistown, moved to York, in 1953, and then to Jacksonville, Fla., in 1966. She was a long-time member of Mandarin United Methodist Church and was a member of the Methodist Women. She worked for Sears & Roebuck in York, and then transferred to Jacksonville, Fla. She also worked as a bookkeeper for their family business and also for an accounting firm.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 68 years, Wesley B. Mumper; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sylvia Mumper; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Christopher Lawrence; grandchildren, Kris Stremmel, Jeff Mumper, Julie Holt, Katie Estes, John Moore, Johnna Ferry, Rebecca Feliciano; and great-grandchildren, Devin Mumper, Madison Mumper, Katelyn Mumper, Matthew Estes, Jess Stremmel, Max, Isaac Moore, Gryffin Moore, Christopher Ferry, Steven Ferry, Matthew Ferry, Stephanie Ferry, Allison Jordan, Sam Jordan, Cody Jordan, Isabella Feliciano, Luis Feliciano.

Memorial Services will be held on today at 10 a.m. at Mandarin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Missy Hart officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Westminster Woods Benevolent Assistance Fund.
