KAISER--The body of W. L. Kaiser, of this city, boatswain's mate aboard the U. S. S. Florida, who was drowned while swimming in Curtis Bay, near Baltimore, on Sunday afternoon, was removed Tuesday to Wilmington by members of the crew of the ship, who will conduct a military burial. The body was taken to the home of his mother, Mrs Anna E. Kaiser, 106 West Twenty-fifth street. As soon as information concerning the death of Kaiser reached officers of the Florida a committee composed of W. M. Price, chief turret captain; E. L. Emrick, boatswain's mate first class; C. W. Chapman, carpenter's mate, first class, was detailed to arrange for the burial of Kaiser and confer with his mother.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home. A firing squad from League Island Navy Yard will be present and a detachment from the navy will act as pallbearers. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery.
