BOONEVILLE - Billy Wayne Forman, 72, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at his home after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Alcorn County to Claude and Bell Thrasher Forman. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired construction worker. He enjoyed his chickens and loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Dixon and Bro. Merle Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Janet (Kenneth) Bearden of Rienzi and Gennie (Richard) Blackburn of Booneville; one son, Danny (Teresa) Forman of Booneville; three sisters, Eva Bright, Mable (Jimmy) Allen and Evelyn Switcher, all of Corinth; one brother, Richard (Betty) Forman of Corinth; six grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Forman; his parents; three sisters, Daisy Allen, Edith Gant and Gladys Potts; two brothers, Cletus and Carl Forman; and one grandson, Richard Lee Blackburn.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Henderson, Casey Bearden, Patrick Davis, Terry Forman, Patrick Pounds and Jesse Armstrong.
Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
