Evelyn M. Oehmichen, 90, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Golden Living Center.

Born June 25, 1919 in Chicago, IL, Evelyn was a daughter of the late George and Mary Maudo Fontany.

Evelyn married William Henkel. In 1965 she married LeRoy Oehmichen.

Evelyn served her country during WW II in the U.S. Marine Corps.

She is survived by two sons, William (Sandy) and James (Sandy) Henkel; two grandchildren; one sister, Elaine Dennissen.

She was preceded in death by one brother, George Fontany and one sister, Margaret Fontany.

Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery.
