Russell Aubrey, the second of six children of his parents, three boys and three girls, was raised on the family farm near Greensburg, LA. Harvey sought employment in Baton Rouge after his high school years. He married Ella Mae Frazier and they had one daughter, Thelma Faye. Russell was working as a machine operator at the Kaiser Aluminum Facility in Baton Rouge at the time of his early death. He died at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, East Baton Rouge.
