MOULTON -- Funeral for Pauline Letson Dyar, 89, of Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Goodlett and the Rev. Hollis Retherford officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dyar died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 19, 1911, in Lawrence County to Frank Letson and Flora Letson. Mrs. Dyar was a retired nurse. She was the widow of Claude Taylor Dyar and the mother of the late James Claude "Jimmy" Dyar.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Newsom of Decatur; one sister, Mamie Richardson of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
