Scott Dennis Sveum, 75, Lancaster, Minn. died at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock Nov. 5, 2009.
He was born the son of C.A. Boisner and Barbara Georgina (Lusignan) Boisner.
At the age of 18 months, after the untimely death of his mother, he was adopted by Martina and Olga Sveum.
He grew up in the local area where he spent his entire life. Most of his adult years were spent farming.
He was also a mail carrier in the local area for 20 years and retired in July, 2000.
Scott's passion was the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, trapping and enjoying nature. He was a great friend, always willing to help anyone in need.
Family members inlude his wife, Dorothy, a brother, Dale; a son, Clark; two daughters, Tracee and Tammee; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, adoptive parents and two sisters.
A private family service was held Nov. 8, 2009 at Austin Funeral Home. Burial was at Riverview Memorial Garden, Lancaster, Minn.
