Rev. Fracker attended Western Theological Seminary (later called Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA) for the 1881-1882 school year. Then he attended Union Theological Seminary in New York City for the 1882-3 year; and then Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey for the next year, graduating in 1884. He was ordained for ministry in 1886 by the Presbytery of Fort Dodge in Iowa. Rev. Fracker then served as Pastor of the Ashton and Inwood, Iowa Presbyterian Churches (1885-1890). He served the congregation in Vail, Iowa in 1891, after which he pastored the Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake, Iowa (1992-1894 and again in 1906).
