BALDWYN – Ruby Enis Bryson, 97, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009. at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born Sept. 22, 1912, to TJ and Virgie Enis. She married Stanley Bryson on Dec. 12, 1931, and remained married until his death in 1998. She was a lifelong resident of the Baldwyn area. She retired from Blue Bell/Red Kap with 30 years of service. She was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed roses. A dedicated, faithful member of the First United Methodist Church until her health began to fail in 2002, her personal ministry included providing flowers for her church for 50 years. She loved her family, her home and her community.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Corley and Bro. Wayne Napier officiating. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly (David) Gibson of Guntown; a son-in-law, Dwight Werner of Baldwyn; one brother-in-law, Arlis Ricks of Raymond; two sisters-in-law, Doris Bryson Cooper of Overland, Mo., and Eleanor Bryson Bing of St. Peters, Mo.; six grandchildren, Bryson (Cathy) Werner, Matt Werner, Rusty (Jennifer) Crowe, Missy (John) Kelsay, Michael (Aynsley) Gibson, Michelle (Rickey) Roberson; her great-grandchildren, Wes Crowe, Jamie Crowe, John Jr. Kelsay, Autumn Kelsay, Gracie Kelsay, Grant Werner, Justin Werner, Luke Werner, Sadie Gibson and Guy Roberson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughters, Pattye Sue Werner and Esther Lee Crowe (Jimmy Crowe); two grandchildren, Buddy Werner and Jason Crowe; four brothers, Bill (Helen) Enis, Phillip (Alice) Enis, Bruce (Surena) Enis and Mack (Ruth) Enis; two sisters, Margie (Boyce) Gamble and Maude Ricks; two brothers-in-law, RC Cooper and Wilbur Bing; and a sister-in-law, Eupha Pearl Houston.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, great-grandsons, Tommy Gamble and James Gamble. Bobby Nichols will be an honorary pallbearer
