Graveside services for Irene C. Haley, 88, formerly of 1532 40th St., Rock Island, are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Rock Island Memorial Park.

Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline.

Mrs. Haley died Monday, April 17, 1995, at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.

The former Irene C. Swank was born April 29, 1906, in Port Byron, the daughter of David and Adeline Simon Swank. She married Glen Haley Aug. 22, 1927, in Rock Island. He died Dec. 30, 1961.

She was employed as a sales clerk in her earlier years in the cosmetics department at the former New York store. She later worked at the former LaRose Shop.

She was a member of South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.

Survivors include a son, Richard G. Haley, Rock Island; sisters, Rita La'Mere, Amery; Wis., Ellen Staack, Readlyn, Iowa, and Dorothy Quick, Carido, N.D.; and brothers, Harry Swank, Osceola, Wis., and Donald Swank, Comstock, Wis.
