Walter Samuel Marsh, 66, passed away at his home near Noble Sunday after a lingering illness of four years duration.

Mr. Marsh was born in Bradley County, Ark., but made his home in Richland County for a number of years. He was a consistent member of the M. E. Church. In 1888 he was married to Miss Corinda Mayo and to this union two sons and one daughter were born. The mother, daughter and one son preceded him to the grave. One son, Edward survives.

In 1907 Mr. Marsh was married to Miss Tennie McDowell, who survives him. Their two children both died in infancy.

Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church in Noble Tuesday afternoon with pastor Rev. C. R. Wise. The remains were interred at Hanna cemetery.
