David Edward Case, 72, of Greenville, died April 24, 2004.

He was the husband of the late Louise Ida Case and was the son of the late J. Paul and Conselo Case. Mr. Case was born in Tigerville and was a machinist with Carolina Rubber Roll until he retired. Mr. Case was also a veteran of the Korean war in the Army Air Corps.

Mr. Case is survived by a son, David Case Jr., and his wife, Susan, of Mauldin; a daughter, Vickie Santay, and her husband, John, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Rory and Sarah Case of Mauldin and Samantha Santay of Greenville; and a brother, Joseph Case of Greenville. Mr. Case was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Bryner; a sister, Mable Barker; and two brothers, Daniel Oscar Case and Frank Case.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Cannon Jones Chapel in Simpsonville. Burial will follow in the Conestee City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
