EULESS - Travis Elmer Alford, a retired butcher for A&P Tea Company, died Wednesday at a Bedford hospital. He was 80.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Mr. Alford was born in Avery and had lived in the Euless area for 20 years.He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the International Order of Oddfellows Lodge.
Survivors: Wife, Betty Alford of Euless; two sons, William H. Alford of Orange and Lt. Col.
Dr. Anthony L. Alford of K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan; sister, Edith Cook of Clarksville; and three grandchildren.
