He had lived in Jonesboro since 1981, moving here from Trenton, Tenn. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He received his bachelor of science degree in 1962 from Memphis State University and his master of science in 1966 from Memphis State. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Tennessee Medical Center in 1971. He was the chief of staff at NEA Medical Center and also the former director of emergency services at NEA Medical Center. He had a family practice from 1981 to 2005.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Dr. James and Florence Beck Bradley.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joy Fisher Bradley of the home; Josh and Jade Bradley and six other children; a brother, Robert Bradley of Edgemont; three half sisters; 16 grandchildren.
Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery.
