Daughter of James Jones and Avey Case Jones Harris. She came with her family to Indiana at the age of 8, walking the entire way except to ferry the Ohio river. Mary married John A Anderson on 22 Jun 1878 in Henry County, Indiana. Their children were Pearl, Harley David and Elsie May. She was a lifelong member of the Friends (Quaker)Church.
