Graveside services for Elma Louise Barton, 79, of Henderson, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.
Mrs. Barton died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at her residence. She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Bronson, Texas and had lived for 35 years in Henderson. She was a nurses aide at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by: husband, J.L. Barton; daughter, Annette Garrison; and son, Lovis Wade Barton.
Survivors include: son, Billy Joe Barton of Houston; son-in-law, George Garrison of Henderson; brothers, John W. Craig and Eddie J. Craig of Garrison; grandchildren, Shelby Garrison and wife Sheree of Marshall; John Garrison and wife Rebecca of Henderson; Justin Garrison and wife Christi of Houston; Joey Barton of Houston; Steven Barton of Houston; Ronald Barton of Austin; Renee Venable of Houston; and 11 great-grandchildren.
