Cause of Death of William Brown Saturday Night.
Mr William Brown, one of the oldest and best known residents of the city, died Saturday night at 10:30 o'clock at his home, 112 Sixteenth street, from injuries sustained by a fall from a scaffolding at his home Wednesday afternoon. His spinal column was broken and paralisys followed.
Mr. Brown was eighty one years old and leaves a wife and five children. They are Arthur, Charles and Fred T. Brown, Mrs. May Birtles and Mrs. Charles Miller. He was in the employe of the Monon for many years and was an extensive property holder at the time of his death. He was a native of England and came to this country sixty years ago. He retired from active labor about twenty five years ago.
He was a member of Wesley Chapel from which place the funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.
