Mrs. Bessie Alice Seals, 77, 1308 Forest, Rogers, died Jan. 17 in a Springdale nursing home. Born Feb. 14, 1897, at Kingston, she was the daughter of Smith and Laura Canfield Bradshaw and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, S. E. Seals of the home; two sons, Willie Seals, Rogers, and Jessie Glen Seals, Broken Arrow, Okla.; (One son, James Wilson Seals, preceded her in death, Jan. 10, 1975) three daughters, Mrs. Virgie Poplin, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Sylvia Breland, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Emele Burton, Springdale; two brothers, Jessie Bradshaw, Kingston, and Wilburn Bradshaw, Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Bradberry, Salem Ore., and Mrs. Mellie Armor, Greenfield, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in First Southern Baptist Church, Kingston, with the Rev. Clyde Johnson officiating. Burial was in Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were Curtis Griggs, Billy Griggs, Ray Griggs, Bill Smelley, Bobby Cook and Glen McScllough.
