Margie Rose Looney, 65, of Alabama 251, died Friday at her residence.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Screws and Dr. Carl Evans officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Looney was a native of Athens, a member of the First United Methodist Church, former owner of the Country Girl Shop in Athens, which she operated for 25 years, and was a master flower grower.
Survivors include her husband, Milton A. Looney; one daughter, Leigh Ann Looney of Huntsville; two sisters, Gloria Smith of Huntsville and June Street of Huntsville; and two brothers, George Rose and Griggs Rose, both of Athens.
