Louis M. Marson, Sr.
Age 95, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 27, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Mildred Giroso Marson who passed away in 1987 and with whom he share 49 years of marriage. Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Olivio and Antonia Pasquale Marson. He was self employed as a Mushroom Grower most of his life. After his retirement, he was a Salesman for Hudson Farms and Kaolin Compost. Mr. Marson was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Italian American Citizens League, Loyal Order of the Moose, Clearview II Hunting Club and the Red Run Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mr. Marson is survived by 1 son, Louis M. Marson, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Kennett Square, PA; 3 daughters, Antoinette Pesce and her husband Victor of Milton, DE, Mary Lou Madron and her husband Kenneth L. of Kennett Square, PA and Jo Ann Marson of Wilmington, DE; 1 brother, Dominick Marson of Detroit, MI; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 6-8 pm, Friday evening, December 4, and again from 8:15-9:15 am, on Saturday morning, December 5, at the KUZO & GRIECO FUNERAL HOME, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA (Phone: 610-444-4116). His Funeral Mass will be at 10 am, at St. Patrick's Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
