MRS. CAROLINE HART DIES
Wife of Veteran Railroad Man at
Hilgard Stricken With Paralysis
HILGARD, Or., Oct. 31 -- Mrs. Caroline Hart, aged 63, wife of J.C. Hart, veteran agent of the O.W.R.& N. company of Hilgard, died at her home today.
She was the mother of seven children, six of whom are living. They are: Mrs. M.B. Metzler, of La Grande; F.G. Hart, of Rathdrum, Idaho; Mrs. G.W. Phelps of Pendleton; Mrs. Frank Rechlin, of La Grande; Mrs. Frank Fairbanks, of Pendleton, and Miss Ruth Hart, of Hilgard.
Mrs. Hart was also the grandmother of two daughters of Judge Phelps of Pendleton.
Mrs. Hart Was Stricken with paralysis on October 19 and never retained consciousness.
