Porter-Lacey Wedding

Saturday in his study at the Methodist Protestant parsonage on Walnut street the Rev Stokely Fisher read the impressive wedding ecremony which united the lives of Miss Mary Porter and Arthur Lacey, both popular young people of Newcomerstown. Mr Lacey is one of the valued machinists with the File Works located in Newcomerstown and it is here that Mr and Mrs Lacey will make their future home.

Newcomerstown - Arthur C. Lacey, 90, of 427 Heller Drive, here, died at 2pm today at the New Dawn Nursing Home in Dover, where he had been a patient since June 1.
He was born May 18, 1887 in Newcomerstown to Richard and Margaret Custer Lacey. His wife the former Mary Brown Phythyon Lacey died Jan 31, 1973.
He was a retired employee of the James B Clow Company and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs Arthur (Gladys) Ackerman of West Newton, PA and Mrs Neva Jerome of Dover, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Rev Ray Snyder officiating.
