Reva Selestia Christensen, 93, of Elsinore, Utah, passed away November 26, 2009, in Richfield. She was born November 15, 1916, in Elsinore, to Peter Christian and Oline Jeppesen Christensen.
Reva taught 1st grade for many years. She played the violin and was the Elsinore Ward Chorister for many years. Reva also served on the Stake Relief Society General Board.
She is survived by her sister, Dona (John) Dudek, CA; sisters-in-law, Colleen Christensen, ID; and Rowena Christensen, CA; nieces and nephews, Sherry (Andre) Millett, Kingston; Ann (Larry) Julander, Suzanne (VerDon) Durfee, both of Elsinore; Pete (Allison) Christensen, NV; Margo (Charlie) Evans, Quinn (Betty) Christensen, Reed Christensen, all of Central Valley; Joy (Myron) Johnson, Holden; Christine (Del) Nielson, Marysvale; and Val Jean (Donald) Holgate, Monroe; Phillip (Candice) Christensen, AZ; Carl Christensen, CA; Janet Christensen, CA; Peter (Lisa) Dudek, CA; Susan Dudek, CA; Rebecca (Jeffery) Jaech, CA; Marillee (David) Swenson, ID; Roger (Christene) Christensen, Salt Lake City; Craig (Debora) Christensen, Salt Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Marie (Walter) Christensen, Christian (June) Christensen, Anna (Loren) Sylvester, Willard Christensen, Gerald (Pearl) Christensen, Mona Woods, Nedon Christensen, Sheron Christensen, Karma Christensen, Verna Christensen.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009, at 11:00 a.m.
in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Elsinore on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
