She was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Royalton, Ky., to Andrew and Teda (Marshall) Allen. Her mother died in 1956. Her father and stepmother, Lillian (Holbrook) Allen survive in Lima.
On Aug. 4, 1951, she married Cecil Wright and he survives in Ada.
Survivors also include two brothers, Warnie Allen of McGuffey, and Timothy S. "Tim" Allen of Lima; three sisters, Roberta (Ezra) Moore of Lima, Brenda (Thomas) Keller of Lima, and Catherine "Cathy" Burton of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and nine nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Darvin D. Wright in 1987 and sister, Barbara Allen in 1945.
Mrs. Wright was a private duty nurse aide who worked also at the Hardin County Home and for Ada Nursing Home. She was a member of the Auglaize United Baptist Church of Maysville. She attended McGuffey High School.
Services were held Oct. 18 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with pastors Russell Manns and Willie Collins officiating. Burial was in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Memorial contributions may be made to Auglaize United Baptist Church of Maysville.
