At the age of 16 she married Asbury Harrison Holden on April 12, 1924 in North Lenoir Twp,Caldwell County, North Carolina. They later divorced and they had no children.
She passed away on Feb. 16, 1934 of Cancer.
She is buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in the Mount Pleasant community of Wilkesboro, Wilkes County, North Carolina.
She is survived by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.
