Dr. Verne Heseltine, 72 years old, a prominent Taylors Falls, MN resident, died Monday in St. John's hospital, St. Paul.
Despite his age and a heart ailment, Dr. Heseltine continued his medical practice until 3 days before he was brought to the hospital there.
Born in Adelaide, South Australia, he went to England at 19, entered St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School from which he was graduated and practiced in the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin before he came to this country 39 years ago and settled at Taylors Falls.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Pepper and Mrs. Ron Vestina and two grandchildren, all of Taylors Falls, and two brothers in Australia. Dr. Heseltine's wife, the former Jessica O'Brien died four years ago.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2:30 pm Wednesday in the family home at Taylors Falls-- submitted from the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
