Blairsville
Earle Copeland Cunningham, 86, of Blairsville, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana. He was born July 26, 1920 in Livermore, a son of Wells L. and Acsa Kennedy Cunningham.
Mr. Cunningham was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville; Local Union 75, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Greensburg and B.P.O.E 406, Blairsville. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was employed by John F. Casey Corp. as a carpenter.
Surviving are a brother, Dan and wife Cleo, Saltsburg; a sister, Emily Rankin and husband, Perry, Blairsville; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Stella Collavo Cunningham; a brother, Richard; and three sisters, Isabell McPhilimy, Marjorie Lintner and Nora Stairs.
The family received friends at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating. Interment was in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
