Conard D. Middleton, age 87 of Vendor, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Dave and Dullie (Riddell) Middleton, he was born May 5, 1922 at Vendor, Arkansas.
Conard was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was a member of Mt. Judea Church of Christ and was a JP for Newton County for many years. He always drove a "Ford" truck and enjoyed taking his grandchildren to Fayetteville with the lumber truck, always stopping at Lucy's for candy on the way home.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Virgie, Otto, and Dallas; sisters, Bertha Brown, Caroline Price, Edna Holt, Alice Hefley and an infant sister, Marie Middleton.
Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Ina (Greenhaw) Middleton of the home; daughter, Connie Sue Kimrey and her husband, Bill of Broken Arrow, OK, their children (grandchildren) Sherry Kimrey-Smith and her husband, Matthew, David Lee Kimrey and wife, Amy, and Joshua Lee Kimrey, their children (great-grandchildren), Caleb Perry, Seth Smith, Marissa Smith, Jacob Smith, Ethan Kimrey, and Carsyon Kimrey; son, Michael Middleton and wife, Connie of Bergman, their children (grandchildren) Michael Chad Middleton and wife, Jeanette, Court Middleton, Chris Middleton and wife, Tammy and Caley Cobb and husband, John, their children (great-grandchildren) Courtney Middleton, Ethan Middleton, Shelby Middleton, and Addison Middleton; Conard's son, Jeff Middleton of Jasper; his brothers, Eathel Middleton, Lynn Carl Middleton, and Kenneth Middleton; and sisters, Lorene Smith and Lu Scott.
Visitation was Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Service was Friday, November 13, 2009 at Mt. Judea Church of Christ. Jim Gaskill and Junior Dodson officiated.
Burial followed in Smith Cemetery with pallbearers being Michael Chad Middleton, Court Middleton, Chris Middleton, David Kimrey, Joshua Kimrey, and Seth Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Taylor Hefley and Bailey Hefley.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
