MRS. MAX O'DONNELL
MILTONVALE - The funeral for Mrs. Ava O'Donnell, 59, Miltonvale postmaster, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Miltonvale, the Rev. Don Pfannenstiel officiating.
Burial will be in the Miltonvale Cemetery.
Mrs. O'Donnell died Wednesday at the Ottawa County Hospital, Minneapolis.
She was born Feb. 23, 1922, at Delphos. She had lived in Miltonvale most of her life and had been the postmaster since 1979. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Surviving are her husband, Max, of the home; three sons, Mike Bray, Independence, Mo.; Rusty Bray, Houston, Texas, and Kevin Bray, Miltonvale; three daughters, Mrs. Carole Frieden, Atchison; Mrs. Sheri Ennis, and Mrs. Pat Carson, both of Independence, Mo.; two stepsons, Bill O'Donnell, Chicago, Ill.; Pat O'Donnell, Dallas, Texas; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gail Gibbs, Clay Center; three sisters, Mrs. Conine Richard, Salina; Mrs. Annie Bredengerd, Lakewood, Colo., and Mrs. Mary Lou Hoalihan, San Gabriel, Calif.; four brothers, Orval Breen, Mark J. Breen and Bob Breen, all of Miltonvale; and Paul Breen, Delphos, and nine grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. Friday at the Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale, where friends may call.
