"LIVERMORE FALLS- Mrs. Alice L. Coolidge, wife of Samuel W. Coolidge, died Tuesday about 2 P.M. at her home on Church Street. She had been ill several months.
Mrs. Coolidge was born May 29, 1877 at Livermore, the daughter of Calvin and Abbey Goding Leach. She attended schools there and Hebron Academy. Before her marriage she taught at Livermore and Bryant Pond. She made her home in Livermore Falls for the past 37 years. She was a member of the Chaucer club, Friday club, Jolly 12, Livermore Falls Garden club, the Washburn Chapter, OES, the Past Matron's Association, OES,the King's Daughters. She attended the Baptist Church and was a member of the Ladies' Aid of the church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter. Mrs. Winthrop Gills, and a grandson, Winthrop Coolidge Gills, both of Lisbon Falls; and several nieces and nephews."
