He was born July 13, 1943, in Kittanning to H. Lee and Melina (Mazzarella) Barrett.
Mr. Barrett was a musician.
He was a Catholic.
His memberships included the Ford City and Kittanning Eagles, Kittanning's Men's Club, and the National Association of Horseshoe Pitchers.
His hobbies were playing the drums and singing and playing horseshoes competitively.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene A. (Elkin) Barrett; one stepson, Paul Roark of London, KY; three step-grandchildren, and one brother, Ronald L. Barrett of Ford City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Blodgett Funeral Home, Kittanning with the Rev. Emil S. Payer, pastor of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Kittanning officiating.
Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
