Lillian M. Barrett, 79, of Ford City, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Ford City, a daughter of the late Vendel Bucko and Anna Kamas Bucko.

She had been a lifelong resident of Ford City.

She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Barrett, who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2007.

Lillian was formerly employed at PPG and by Dr. Bowser of Ford City.

She was a member of Christ Prince of Peace Church, its Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild, at the former Holy Trinity Church and Sokol Lodge 20.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Theresa Simmons and Henrietta Kovalik, both of Ford City.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vendel Bucko Jr.; and two sisters, Johanna Halas and Irene Rehn.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, Ford City, where a vigil for the deceased will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, and prayer for the transfer of the body will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Christ Prince of Peace Parish with Father Edward Lewis officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery.
