Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St., with Larry Stone officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ina was born June 11, 1924, in Texola, Okla., to Bailey and Opal Francis. She died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009. What a wonderful way on Thanksgiving Day for Jesus to say, "Come up here with me," to a precious mom such as she. She married the love of her life, Perry Bob Burrows, on May 18, 1940. They later moved to Pampa, where after completing her education in night school, she went to work at Lovett Memorial Library. She was very active in First Baptist Church, teaching the 3-year-olds. They moved to Amarillo in 1979 to be closer to grandchildren. She loved to garden on the place they called "a few acres."
She also was a charter member of Pullman Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. The last five years of her life were spent with the family at Bivins Memorial Nursing Home. They became her second family. Their love and dedication is so appreciated.
She was preceded in death by her father, her only brother, her mother and her loving husband.
Survivors include a daughter, Denny Sharber and husband Tom of Amarillo; a son, Bobby Ray Burrows of South Maid; a sister, Pat Grace of Midland; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
