OWENSBORO MESSENGER INQUIRER OBITUARY – 11/26/2009

Judy Ann Payne Oelze, 58, of Owensboro died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at her home. She was born January 21, 1951, in Daviess County to the late Charles & Helen (Mattingly) Payne. She was employed at U.S. Bank Home Mortgage for 28 years and was a member of SS. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, shopping, NASCAR, UK basketball, being outside and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Bill Oelze; a daughter, Angie Wright and husband, Jeff Wright; a grandchild, Chelsea Wright; a great-grandson, Jayden Wright; and two brothers; Darrell Payne and wife Mary Lou and Joe Payne. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church, with Father Carl McCarthy officiating. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with prayers at 4 p.m.
