Randall Lynn Whetzel, age 45, of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Monday, November 23, 2009, on Dumpling Run Road. He was born on October 12, 1964, in Grant County.
He is survived by his father, Herman Lee Whetzel Sr. and his wife Becky; his mother, Helen Leatherman and her husband Clarence; his wife, Pamela Jean Gibson Whetzel of Moorefield, WV; one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Whetzel of Moorefield, WV; three sons, Ryan Scott Whetzel, Randall Tyler Whetzel, and Joseph Donovan Griffith of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Barb Susan Thorn and Linda Marie Tilley both of Moorefield, WV; four brothers, Leroy Whetzel of Moorefield, WV, Bobby Wayne Whetzel of Junior, WV, Freddy Allan Whetzel of Moorefield, WV, and Herman Lee Whetzel Jr. of Baker, WV; two grandchildren, Abigal and Hannah Griffith.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be conducted at the Elmore Funeral Home on Saturday, November 28, 2009,at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Whetzel officiating. Burial will follow at the Whetzel Family Cemetery in Lahmansville, WV.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
