Branchville - William D. Berry, 44, died Monday in a Bamberg hospital. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Ott Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Ott Cemetery. Mr. Berry was born in Branchville, a son of the late Bertree [Vertieree] Berry and Annie Eaton [Heaton] Berry. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Branchville Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Iris M. Berry; two sons, William D. Berry Jr. and Robert Reed Berry; a step-son, Eugene D. Bennett Jr., all of Branchville; two brothers, Duke [Luke] Berry of Branchville and Joe Berry of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Dolly Berry of Branchville and Mrs. Ruby Reynolds of Gold Town [Grovetown], Ga.
