Michael Wayne "Mike" Lambeth, 38, of Fayetteville, N.C. died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002 in Fayetteville. Lambeth was born July 16, 1963 in Inglewood and lived in Barstow for more than 20 years. He was an oil analyst and lab technician for 10 years. He loved music and was the drummer for a local band called Battle Axe. He graduated from Barstow High School in 1981. Lambeth was a member of the Mormon Church in Barstow in the 1970s.
He was preceded in death by his father Alvin Wayne Lambeth in 1979. He will be well remembered for his drumming and his great smile. Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Lambeth of Barstow; brother, Kevin J. Lambeth of Barstow and many, many friends. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mead Mortuary Chapel, 36930 Irwin Road.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Mead MortuaryChapel. Burial is at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
