Mrs. Gebhart was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Shamrock, Mo., to Homer and Lyda Dillard, who preceded her in death.
She married William Frank Davis Gebhart on Feb. 11, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank "Duke", Roy, and Thomas Dillard.
Mrs. Gebhart attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., was an assistant to the principal at Noyes Elementary School, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chapter HC PEO, the Runcie Club, the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, St. Joseph United Way and the Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors: sons, Roger Gebhart and wife, Jamey, Charlotte, and Conrad Gebhart and wife, Claudia, Oregon, Mo.; grandsons, Jeb and Davis Gebhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service: 3 p.m. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
