Myron Hawley was born July 20, 1824, in Brooklyn Township, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, to Lorenzo C. Hawley/Holly and Julian Youngs Hawley. He married Emily Haley, daughter of Joshua Haley and Phades Tracy Haley, December 16, 1847, in Huntington, Lorain County, Ohio. He died June 12, 1890 in Huntington. See Elyria Republican June 26, 1890, and Lorain County Probate Court death certificate. Emily died November 15, 1881, in Michigan.
