NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- Mrs. Eleanor D. (Pierce) Puffer, 84, formerly of Gloucester, and Melrose, died Aug. 12, 2003 at the Wingate Nursing Home.
Mrs. Puffer was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Boston, a daughter of Elmer E. and Gertrude E. (Clark) Pierce.
She was a graduate of Lassell Junior College. She was an accomplished artist and was a member of the Cape Ann Watercolor Painters in Rockport, the three G's and Phi Theta Xi of Melrose.
Family members include her husband, Daniel W. Puffer; a son, Robert P. Puffer; a daughter, Ann C. Puffer; and one grandson.
SERVICES: A private service will be held.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the Rockport Art Association, 12 Main St., Rockport, MA 01966.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster, MA.
Arrangements by the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose.
