Mrs. Merle Acree Woodard
A native of Andalusia, AL and a resident of Chickasaw, AL died Monday, June 9, 2008 in a local hospital. Mrs. Woodard attended Chickasaw Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewey Woodard and son James "Pete" Woodard. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Etheredge, Axis, AL and Shirley (David) McCarn, Citronelle, AL; two brothers, Carlos Acree, Mobile, AL and Charles (Jan) Acree, Saraland, AL; two sisters, Marie (Ed) Williams, Beaumont, TX and Maxine Campbell, Houston, TX; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.
