Jackie Artell McConnell, 73, of Route 13, Athens, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with the Rev. Grady Reyer officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Jackie A. McConnell of Dallas, Texas, Teddy McConnell of Decatur and Johnny M. McConnell Sr. of Elkmont; a daughter, Patricia Scott of Athens; seven brothers, five sisters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
