OBITUARY: Vicki Jo Flowers

Vicki Jo Flowers, 40, Topeka, died, Sat., Sept. 2, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital's E.R. She was born Sept. 19, 1965, at Topeka the daughter of Howard William and Rose Charlotte (Coon) Flowers.

Vicki had been a C.N.A. at St. Francis Hosp. the past 19 years.

She was preceded in death by a son, Justin Michael Flowers, on Oct. 14, 2000; her father on Dec. 28, 1983; and 2 brothers: Daryl in July, 1979, and Wayne in Sept., 2000.

Surviving are her mother, Rose Flowers, of the home; 5 sisters: Carolyn Malone, Jacque Sewell, Linda Bigenwalt, and Juanita Turkin all of Topeka and Beverly Zavadil of Overland Park; 2 brothers: Jay Flowers of Topeka and Ed Flowers of Silver Lake; 3 half-sisters; 2 half-brothers; 37 nieces and 36 nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Thurs., Sept. 7, 2006, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence.

Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
