Mrs. Mary Darling dies Oct. 9th at Blue Mt. Lake

Mary Darling, 64, of Maple Lodge Road, Blue Mountain Lake, formerly of Tupper Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m. at her home.

She was born March 25, 1918 at Conifer, the daughter of Oscar Boyer and Marie Souliere Boyer, and was graduated from Tupper Lake High School with the Class of 1936.

She was employed for many years as housekeeper at the Syracuse University Conference Center in Blue Mountain Lake, where funeral services took place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Norman Stephan, pastor of St. Henry's Church, Long Lake, officiating. Interment was in Blue Mountain Lake Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Bruce Darling; a daughter, Wilma Darling of Mesa, Arizona; two sons, Eugene Darling of Raquette Lake and George Darling of Rochester; four sisters: Mrs. Florence Cote and Mrs. Natalie Bourdage, Tupper Lake; Mrs. Wilma Jasper of Fremont, Cal. and Mrs. Helen Baird of Naperville, Ill.; one brother, Eugene Boyer of Oswego; and five grandchildren.
