OBITUARY
Van Renor Weaver died in his sleep Nov 18, 2009 at his home in Smithfield, UT. He was born Feb 18, 1925 in Salt Lake City to Mark Lionel Weaver and Mary Clarissa Daines Weaver.

He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a cargo plane radio navigator.

He married Lois Clark Brown Nov 6, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. He and Lois served in the Texas Corpus Christie Spanish-speaking mission from 1989 to 1991. He has also served in many other church callings.

Van is survived by his ten children and nine of their spouses: Janean (Reid) Barney, Springville; Diane Beach, Huntington Beach, CA; Edith (Gary) Ogilvie, Laketown; David (Jeanette), Idaho Falls, ID; Alma (Pam), Lakewood, CO; Ed (Sharon) Tehachapi, CA; Paul (Nancy) Sugarland, TX; Richard (Laura) Trophy Club, TX; Josh(Janette) and John (Michelle), North Logan. He is also survived by 52 grandchildren and, in his words, "progeny galore". He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, his wife, a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Services will be held Saturday, Nov 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the LDS church building at 345 E 300 S in Smithfield. Friends and family may call from 1:00 to 2:20 Saturday at the church. Burial was held Monday in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Nelson Funeral Home
