Betty was born June 4, 1928, in Tremonton, Utah, to Carl and Elva Rogers Maisak and was the youngest of five children. After her mother passed away at an early age, Betty was cared for by caring neighbors Elmer and Mamie Goringe.

She was a Bear River High School graduate and attended beauty school in Ogden, Utah. She enjoyed horses and was a champion barrel racer. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Betty married George Bostock and together they raised five children, Nancy Lindgren, of Surprise, Ariz.; Lawrence Ronald Wells of Logan, Utah; Carla Horn of North Logan, Utah; Brett (Cindy) Bostock of North Logan, Utah; and Jon Scott (Lisa) Bostock of Providence, Utah.

After her retirement from Saddleman Seat Covers, Betty enjoyed maintaining a beautiful yard and could be found working there daily. She was passionate about the Utah Jazz and never missed a televised game. Grandma Betty was a favorite with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they were what meant most to her.
