Lydia Dungen was shot by a rifle and killed near her home. She had gone to hunt turkeys with a 22-rifle, and later was found dead "some distance from the house." The cause of her death was presumed accidental. Survivors included her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dungen and several sisters and brothers.
