He is survivrd by the widow, Flora Mae (Powell) Wainscott, six daughters, Mrs. Walter Haines, Mrs. Milton Needler, Mrs. Lelia Martin, Mrs. Lulu Robinson and Mrs. Lowell Travis, all of Anderson, and Mrs. Dale Cain of Noblesville, R.R. Two daughters are deceased, Mrs. Jessie Snow and Alice Catherine Wainscott.
Also surviving are a son, Ardra Wainscott, Sheridan, R.R., a sister, Mrs. John M. Schurr of California, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wainscott, born near Hortonville, had lived in Hamilton County his entire life. He was a farmer and a blacksmith.
