Oretha G. Burris, 89, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at NW Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial: Keene Memorial Park where she is awaiting the coming of her Savior at the resurrection.
She lived most of her life in Fort Worth where she retired after 37 years from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She was a charter member of her church.
Survivors: Son, David; daughter, Marti; siblings Ed and Bill; and six grandchildren.
