Lavonna M. ‘Bonnie' Davis

Lavonna M. "Bonnie" DAVIS, 88, of 934 Sunflower Lane, Rochester, passed away at
11:12 p.m. Thursday at Hickory Creek of Rochester.
Born on Feb. 2, 1917, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Seymour and Anna (Wolfe) Blacketor. The Blacketor family helped pioneer Fulton County in 1823. On Oct. 22, 1949, in Rochester, she married Paul E. Davis and he survives.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Rochester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Davis, on April 29, 1980; sisters, Dolores McGrew, Bernice Rhodes, Ethel Blacketor, Anita Wheadon and Mary Blacketor; and brothers, Otto, Merle and Hugh Robert Blacketor.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, with the Rev. Junior Bose officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
